My setup for my car. In order to eliminate all physical gauges, I decided to put them on a screen. Suck a nut faulty.

I agree it's probably not cheap or easy to do, but the info is out there on the internet.
It would just be nice for someone with this kind of talent to do a write up.
Unless he is planning on selling a system like this..
Then keep all of your info to yourself ;)

Well, I could do. A write up, but you would have to do a lot of custom fabbing for the screen, the hardware to actaully interface to the software takes me about 10 hours to make, and ensure proper function. The software itself is written from scratch in VC++, and the whole system talks to the computer through one single usb connector, and requires no special drivers. I could do a write up, I might, but without heavy background in electronics, programming, and a lot of exspensive tools, it would be impossible. I might be willing to sell some of the hardware, but the source code and the schematics for the hardware are going to stay with me for now. If someone were to buy one, they would need to have be willing to wait for a couple weeks for me to build, but they also would get a completely custom interface, made to the buyer's request.

I would need the girl to be switchable between stripper and not, just in case a child were to need a ride to school or something...and would like to be able to change her hair and dress colors to match my mood and seasons...

Can it also interface and datalog with the TT modified ECU and wideband??? And and....

^this. depending on YOUR first final product (in-car, done), we'd have to talk cost. people would be willing to shell out the coin if you have a fully functioning demo in your car, installed and clean.

Oh it runs, lol. I've demoed it for a bunch of people who showed up at the boston volvo meet in january. Albeit it was very flakey then, It's now very solid, I did a test where I left the hardware on for about a week, and after 171 hours, everything still functioned correctly. Price is still not set. I'm buying another netbook, and all the parts, and i think i'll put together my first kit. I'd be looking for 600 - 900 depending on how customized and what features are asked for. Remember, these are all one-offs. I hand build these from scratch, and it's all my own design and software. You will not find either on the internet, primarily because I keep this data on my phone's storage and backed up in two other places. God i sound like faulty

Also, of course the background is completely switchable. I can even make it transparent so the buttons show up on the computer's desktop. That background is just my personal preference, and it's eva longoria fyi lol
