Hey guys, i was wondering what people would recommend. I want to make my car a little louder and have a good tone but without buying an exhaust. I have an 02 s60 t5. Would removing the resonator make a difference? I know im being cheap and should buy a system like i want to but college wont cut me a break.

i cut out one the resonators on my 04 R and it didn't do much at idle but at WOT it was noticable.
some have complained about drone but i never had a problem.

I grabbed an R exhaust and chopped out the resonator. Between the two, it improved the sound nicely, without added drone.
