My car won't run...it will start but it's missing like crazy. Holding throttle clear to 4500rpm, it misses, stays under 1000rpms, flares up, then comes back down. Normally I'd say it's the MAF sensor...I'm getting that 3" M3 MAF taken out and the stock 2.5" put in very soon, it's gone bad anyway. This has happened before, but not like this. I reset the ECU, and now it's even popping. I watched the boost gauge and it would jump from clear vacuum to about 1psi, just a very fluttery bit. It's just not running at all...we're getting the MAF sensor switched out...but I'm just wondering if anyone has an idea of any other problems. EGR valve probably needs changing as well. The check engine light isn't on, so no plug misfiring. It's not the distributor cap, after I reset the ECU it ran fine for about a minute, no missing or anything. Afterward tho it started missing and bogging again. Any ideas? Thanks

No, it's sounds like it's choking on an idle...serious bogging down.

also going out on a limb... all your IC piping connections tight?
When I first got my car back, idle was terrible and when i put my foot on the gas, it stumbled, and choked. They failed to connect my top IC hose. I know they can pop off very easily under high boost.

Yeah...I checked everything, I've blown intercooler piping off all over the place...TB/intercooler pipe, turbo charge pipe, everything. I'll double check it tho.

It's the little cylindrical silver thing up near the intake manifold. It has an electrical connection that plugs into it and has a hose running out of each side. Try cleaning it.
