My dear wife was in a hurry to pick-up my daughter when she encountered a "Speed Hump" at a high rate of speed, thus ramming the asphalt with the front frame of the car. After driving home she noticed that there were "little rubber tubes" hanging down from beneath the front drivers side between the wheel and bumper. I realized after looking beneath that the EVAP Charcoal Canister was absent and went on a salvage hunt. Obviously it was crushed and now we find ourselves with a replacement.

I can not find a pictorial or written description of the vacuum lines and canister anywhere in my repair manuals. Can anyone provide me a diagram or web link to a site? Looked over Bay 13 but could not find anything there (A++ site by the way!)

I hope you took a good look under your brick for other damage, the canister is not the most exposed item.

I've seen lots of posts about broken radiator brackets.

Alrighty, thanks. I'll have to remember that pic URL. The EVAP canister routing seems to be a commonly discussed topic in the maintenance section.

There is a little dent in my line from the EVAP valve to the canister...i replaced the valve b/c of the 315 just yesterday...you think the little dent will throw anything off....it's really small part of the hose, closer to the canister, just looks like it got flattened a bit, but still maintains most of it's ID>....
