Hey Guys!

Just wondering if u can help me out with a couple of questions? First, how many liters of oil are needed if I change my oil filter, and what`s the smallest size tires I can go with for next winter (I'm figuring 195/60/15)? I`m presently running the 16'' mags and traction sucks in the winter mad.gif . Oh, the car is a '98 V70 T5.

Thanx in advance

Volvo reccomends 185/65/15 for our '96 855R.

They work better than I expected.

High performance, soft summer tires lose a LOT when the rubber gets cold.

I am running 4 winter tires except they are 205/55/16 (mags). Does the 855r and '98 T5 share the same running gear and disc brake size??

Actually the 99 and up has larger rotors(if we are talking 302mm) and they wont fit in 15 inch wheels(steelies)

6 quarts, little more if you drain the oil cooler as well

If you disconnect the bottom Oil cooler line from the radiator you will get about 1/2 of a cup out, your decision, but without a lift and such a pain thats not worth it.

Start with six quarrts, start the engine let it run for about 30 seconds, shut it off, wait about 5-10 minutes and check the level and adjust accordingly.
