Hey.
Checked my codes today (following an SRS light) and got 2 codes.
I know I've seen 232 on here before, it had something to do with airbags, but I guess that post got wiped out.

Anyone know what this code is?

Also I found @ http://www.volvospeed.com/Repair/Electroni...ionSocketA1.htm 114 to be "Program selector open circuit or short circuit to supply".
What does this actually mean? What are the effects of this?

Thanks,
Mike

You need to tell us what socket you got what codes from.

The 114 from the A1 socket, is for the mode selector switch, just erase it and ignore it, the code could be set for any number of reasons that are not a problem with the switch, unless it is full of Coke, Pepsi, coffee etc.

The B5 code 232 is for the seat belt tensioner left, open circuit.
The connection is in the B pillar, I'd clear the code and see if it returns, if it does, take the B pillar trim off and wire tie the connector to the tensioner, and try that.
