Hello all,
I did some searching through the archives and I purchased and replaced the microswitch in the drivers side door today. It wasn't working and the light and chime would not stop...

Anyways, upon putting the assembly back together the plastic fastener which receives the rod from the door lock actuator on the inside snapped down inside on the door lock mechanism. As murphy would have it, the rod/plastic head for the push pull actuator fell down to the bottom of the door when that clippy thing on the door lock mechanism broke.

My questions are:
Does anyone know if you can buy the piece of plastic at the top, the rod and the plastic clip that secures it in the door lock mechanism as singular pieces?

If so, does anyone know the part numbers?

Lastly, how much of a pita is it going to be to take apart the window regulator mechanism to fish that rod and piece of plastic out of there. Knowing my luck its going to rattle and be worse than the door chime...

Watch, with my luck I'll have spent $39.00 for a $5.00 microswitch from FCP, and I'll end up having to spend over a hundred on a new door lock actuator anyways because they won't sell a .02 piece of plastic clip...

Oh the joy of automobiles...

Thank you all in advance
for your suggestions and for your help,
~Jonathan
