Yeah that's probably why Swedish Mikey went straight FWD for his drag car.

That would cost a lot more. Currently they just basically source the setup off the shelf.
Haldex itself isn't the issue. Its the current implementation that is questionable.

Should be out c. 2007/2008.
If it's S40 sized I doubt they can shoehorn a V8 in there.
But All 2006 C70 Convertibles will be hard top, AFAIK.

1. The Haldex is weak if you plan to double the hp but a perfect 300 hp system.
2. Why Svenske Racing? It should be Svenska.

I wouldnt go so far as to call it a perfect system for 300 hp
I'd take a "real" AWD like scoobies or EVOs use any day of the week over volvo's improvised AWD solution.

I saw a naturally aspirated Volvo 240 that had 1,400 HP and did 0-60 in 2 seconds on Cardomain.
The verdict- don't listen to anyone on Cardomain.

The real 4WD system is often better for track and hard driving, no question.
But I think the Haldex is perfect for the R-customers, no race-drivers there.
Lower gas-bill is always welcome!
Besides, over here the VAG-cars like Skoda RS and TTīs are just as quick as Evoīs on track.
The magazine Bilsport got a test-track called Superstage, many cars tested.

Neuspeed has worked with Haldex to make a very RWD biased R32. IT CAN be done just needs TO BE done.

Haldex is suppose to be releasing these "fixes" for several of their applications. I'm pretty sure crapspeed just fronted the money to have their name thrown in the pot with the Haldex fix. neuspeed can suck it.

I have a hard time believing that (after driving numerous ones). My T5R is much more fun to drive in every respect than an A4... only save for interior quality (and 10 years).
