whats wrong with your stock CBV? whats better about the Forge unit than the stock one? I'm just wondering because from what I hear the stock unit is pretty good.

the CBV should in fact fit.. not the BOV though that mounts in its place, its much to large and hits the exhaust manifold.

i was talking about the cbv. The merits of replacing stock, eh dunno. Seems like you might get some flutter at higher boost with the stock one. Just a thought and i saw one for 110 shipped.

There were several people who tried this last year, it would not fit. The CBV would not clear the exhaust manifold on the 16T If I Recall Correctly. A search could answer the ?s. monkey.gif

CBV or BOV, or Wastegate. Lets make sure were using all the right terms here.

1. Aftermarket CBV's for mistu turbos should fit. Exhaust manifold clearance is a problem... I KNOW for a fact the SRT4 "BOV" that bolts onto the CBV does not fit.

2. Forge does make aftermarket wastegate actuators, and there was some talk of using those. Entirely different thing.

3. BOV, vent to atmosphere.

btw, even if the SRT4 one DID fit, you dont want to use it. Its open to atmo at an idle. This is bad.
