Make a coupe, or don't bother bringing it back.

I'd much rather have a convertible than a coupe... Especially for our good weather biggrin.gif

Actually I think the new volvo convertible isn't even going to be called a C70. I saw in Car and Driver, probably a few months ago that the new one will the called the C50. I believe it's going to share the same platform as the 2004.5-present S40. From the pics I saw in C&D, it's very similar to the S40. Not sure if it's going to share the same engine options though. It would be nice (but it'll never happen) if they dropped the new 8 cylinder from the XC90 in that thing...it would be a total S4 cabrio chaser tongue.gif

Is it a C70 or C40? The link says it is a C40.

oops my bad, it may be called the C40. I had it in my head for some reason that it was going to be called the C50...probably cause of the new V50 wagon.

C40 makes more sense. Maybe a C40 coupe also?

It is a crappy photo, but then spy photos are typically like that; have to take the shot when the opportunity presents itself.

I will always love the first C70 more than whatever they can come up with. The coupe has the looks of a CLK from the rear.

All the fake folding hardtop photos of the C40 were just photoshop'd combinations of the SLK with an S40 front end on it.

Yeah, I figured. Photos don't look too legit. Even then, some people are so good at photoshop that you can never tell the difference.

The reason I thought the folding hardtop photo was fake was because the top was just too small. It works for a two seater like the SLK, but I wouldn't want to be a rear seat passenger in a C40 with a top like that.

There is a better picture located here.

I was refering to the folding hardtop picture. The one you are showing looks real.

Edit: laugh.gif Acctually looking closer, that might not be real. Look at the direction of the sunlight on the car, then the light on the two people in the car.

ok good point. i actually just realized that those aren't the typical volvo headrests either. Looks like they're out of a benz.
