WOW....best day in the NS. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

My car did run perfect yesterday.... i readjusted the KW. a bit softer on the front compression. a good tad softer on rear rebound and i deflated the tires on the rear to 1.9 and 2.4 on the front (COLD). That did very good.
i made my first handstopped round. Standing start from Antoniusbuche (about 50m before the bridge to gantry and made 8.45. which is quite ok for that much traffic (about 30 vehicles got passes that round) and i had a second person in the car who took the time.

i guess that the standing start for the uphill part cost at least 10 sec of time bcause you are on WOT up to Tiergarten, which almost 1 km. And if you accelarate from entry of the Schleife youll easily be on 100+ where i made my standign start. With no traffic it would be possible to reduce half minute i guess.

And it was full yesterday...like easter..unbelievable..

i did 6 full rounds yesterday....and got passed by.....ONE car only....
the EDO competetion 995 GT2... a winged widebody monster with a prof. racedriver...

me happy.

p.s. temp problems soved perfectly.....water and oil 90 degrees (!!!!!!) measured five minutes after each round for three times.

850R manual touring car rebuilt.
2870 lbs incl. fully welded roll cage.
stock block, all sorroundings changed.

Johann...what exactly is this?

AudiWorld was guessing and saying catch-cans but I can't see someone putting a catch can in the cabin...one said rear-diff cooler or fluid holder....still seems like you wouldn't put that in your cabin....I guessed fire supression...you have any idea?

Yep, it was a Renault 5 GT turbo which looked pretty much modified at the front.
I thought this system was some sort of fuel system but the owner told me that most was used for water injection..

Looked really complicated.
