If you lurk on the site and post now and then as a visitor, it's fine, even if you are a member and only post now and then it's fine. But................
Ya there is always a but, You don't have to fill in your location, thats a nice to know thing incase there is someone in your area that maybe willing to meet up and help you out. Now the real but, If you don't list the make model and mileage of the car you are trying to get help for, it's really hard to give you any reasonable information about your problem. So if you are a member, put a sig line in that at least has the make and model of your car. Location would be nice as well.
An example is my location is listed as Fairfax VA, and there are several members in the D/C metro area that can back me up on this, I'll meet up with you and help out any Volvo speed member for free. Just get together with you and chit chat about car problems. And on a case by case basis, I've actually done things to members cars to help out when I can.

Sorry for my previous reply... it was a mistake.
I love Bay 13 the repairs tutorials are the best!
However, the site in its present state of navy blue background with black type it is very difficult to read putting to much strain on my eyes. May i suggest changing to a better contrasting color combinition. Hopefully this can be addressed without problems as I believe it would be a vast improvement especially for these old orbs of mine.
