Thanks. I knew what to look for but I didn't know what the reason was!

turnign the key to position II for a few seconds to build up fuel pressure does not change my startup time. its still about 15-30 seconds. after the car has been warmed up it will take about 3-4 seconds to start up.

i don't have a check engine light on.
