friend of mine w/ a 850R jsut got an SAM ECU upgrade and so far all is well. except for just now. he called me saying he was @ a stop light and he put the car into Low and the arrow on the dash just lit up. and now when he puts it in drive it blinks @ him... he has no idea what this means but otherwise the car drives fine ..

any 850 guys care to help us out?? we are both RWD(7/9series) guys so

putting the tranny gear in low will turn the Arrow light on. A blinking arrow light could indicate a failing PNP switch.

Have your friend ratchet the gear selector, with engine off, from P to 2 about 10 to 15 times, that will clean the contacts inside the switch.
