Rich,
I got the CEL on Sunday, plugged her into a generic code reader and got the PO410 supplementary air fault.
Checked the maintenance section and pretty much figured I had the dreaded SAS failure and indeed the pump was toast.....
-Anyway, relay appears to be dead shorted across the diode. (.1 Ohm accross the control circuit terminals on the relay)
-Pump was siezed. (after partial disassembly and lubrication(futile)) I was able to get it to run but too much friction to self start... It will run if you give it a helping push on the impeller)
-I guess the SAS valve should be replaced as well to avoid a repeat

I could probably justify going for the new SAS valve($120CDN), but would consider a used working pump and relay. Anyone know where the best source would be for the used bits and which model years and cars would be compatible with a 98 V70?????
Thanks
Patrick
