Just wanted to endorse a valuable service. I sent Victor my ABS controller and received back a fixed ABS controller for $130 which is considerably less than a new controller. Service was very good, website has all the info you'll need to DIY. http://home.earthlink.net/~vicrocha/Volvo_...lvo_V70_ABS.htm Highly recommend.

Victor fixed mine a couple of months ago. Before I put it on I had 4 or 5 engine lights on. Put my rebuilt one from Victor back in, started it up and poof..... they all went away!!!! He trully stands behind what he says!! Great work Victor !!!!1

Victor was great... $130 for the repair and $30 for shipping. He is in Caligfornia. He supplies you with removal and installation instructions. Returned the ABS within a week. It is nice to be driving my 1996 850 Turbo wagon with no "amber' lights on the dash.

After reading the instructions on Victor's website I was able to remove the ABS module from my 1998 S70T with only a minimum of effort. I did purchase the T5 Torx via Victor's Website and it was in my mailbox in days (even though I am on the opposite coast). Victor rebuilt the module and I had it back in my hands in a week, again in spite of the need to get it cross country. Standard USPS "priority mail" was used both ways. I had a rare, but not unheard of, dual problem. Even after the module repair I still had an intermittent ABS light. I E-mailed Victor and he quickly responded with information on how to check the sensors via the pins on the ABS plug (as well as other useful troubleshooting info) I was able to quickly identify the offending sensor input and found a defective splice in the wiring (car was purchased used and apparently the wire had been damaged. The splice was hidden under the wire wrap used to protect the wire at the wheel). Victor stuck with me the whole way through the process even though clearly he had no responsibility for my secondary problem. I would highly recommend his services to anyone with Volvo ABS problems.
I have a `98 S70 GLT and the ABS light had been on for some time. Dealers and independant shops were quoting me $600 plus to replace this unit. After viewing the forums and checking the internet, I became aware of Victor Rocha.
Victor will replace your ABS unit for under $200 depending on the situation. You can do this by mail. However, since I live in So. Calif as does Victor, I was able to go to his place. In 20 minutes he had replaced the unit and we went for a test drive. I had to drive 80 miles round trip, but I`ll take $180 over $600 anytime.
If any of you needs help with a similar situation, I am happy to endorse Victor Rocha and the service he provides. He is a class act and loves Volvos!

I have been trying to contact Vitor via "Contact Me" on his website but no luck.
Do you know how to get a hold of him?
Thank you

Just got my ABS controller back today after sending it to him last Wednesday. All is well with my ABS now. He is very easy to communicate with and the turn around was 6 business days from me mailing it to him to getting it back in my car.
