That said, if I truely closed all illegal activity in this forum, there would be almost no posts at all and we might as well just eliminate the forum altogether. I would prefer it to be totally legitimate racing, but until people start posting up real racing, its going to stay the way it is for now.

Do what you have to do to keep people safe. If these damn kids can spend 1000 dollars on a downpipe, they can afford the 15 bucks to get into the dragstrip. But as long as you allow this gray area, they'll never race legitimately b/c they won't have to.

Taking away the forum will not stop street racing, it just won't be talked about.

Also, as it was said before, talking to mods like that will definately get you banned quickly. You are new around here, so learn how the system is before you start telling us how to change it.

???? could be km/h mph wasn't specified. I have to post on a non volvo site to get feedback on kills because swedespeed doesn't allow any kills stories at all...and volvospeed closes your kill thread with the slightest detail wrong. That is what actually brought me to volvospeed was that they have a kill forum on here...but now they just get closed, and I'm not sure if its because of the 1 wrong detail or if its cause zappo is hatin' on me

when and if I do illegal street race it's under the right circumstances. I'm not some delinquent kid that does 100mph through traffic or anything like that. so please don't close my kill threads, I won't put the speed up anymore if that is the issue...

You are in NY, so I doubt you were talking about kilometers.
I didn't close the thread actually, but I would have. You were doing 125 mph on a side street.

The reason SS doesn't allow them is the same reason we are considering the same thing. We don't want VS to be seen as promoting street racing. We prefer you go to the track obviously.

It wasn't a side street, it was a 2 lane service road. No houses or anybody around...just a light every mile or 2 where exits are. But I respect your decision next time I won't include a speed

Volvospeed does not condone or encourage ANY type of street racing, and does not reflect the views of someone posting in this forum.


All the evo and dsm forums do it to cover their back..... after that everything goes without worrying if Volvospeed condones racing.

Just say it's on a closed road next time.
