First runs ever w/ the old grey mare - 98 V70T5M ipd Stage III and Aquamist. Just rolled up and hit it and the first run was lucky I s'pose. The second launch had such bad wheel hop that I think the clutch got so hot it wouldn't grab 2nd and I just eased it down the track and tossed the slip. I was vainly hoping for a 100mph ET, but couldn't quite get it there. Is there validity in a conversion calculator like this?: HP Calculator I'm interested in some reasonable accuracy of measurement. I read thru the 60 ft posts and mine apparently suck, but perhaps some tire psi adjustments are in order if I ever go back to the world of them saggy *ss pants wearin' STi pilots and their gap toothed wenches. laugh.gif

Hey roktbox, i dont think your hp calculator is too accurate. i said that i had 291hp to the flywheel when the only engine mods i have is downpipe and a k&n panel filter

edit: just noticed that it said "rear wheels" so that might be why its off

it is off. it put mine 30-40whp above what mine really is. This one is almost dead accurate for me.

Thanks for that additional link. Looks much closer to numbers on other cars with similar modifications. This reflects 327 / 262.6. Good enough for me. biggrin.gif

maybe by next summer I'll be ready for the track...it's kind of funny...my dad wants to race his mustang against my car (69 mach 1....yeah, I know i'll get my jerk whooped), I suggested racing his new car against my volvo...(he got himself a 06 acura TL)
his words...no...you'll beat me. (kinda funny, his new car is no slouch and has about 50 more horses than I do!)

Suggestion: Would you consider modifying the 1/4 mile list to something like this. I did this on another forum and it works great. It is a little more detailed. Just worndering.

I don't think we need to list all of the supportive mods, just the main power mods. I'm open to suggestions to improve this, and we can make more category's as this grows. This should be a good start, lets get some slips e-mailed or pm'd to me so.

I went up to Sears Point for the first time tonight and pulled a 16.08 @ 84.57 in my stock 854 T-5R. I didn't power brake at all, I'll do better next time... Had fun though!
