I'd like to add Mike's shop to the list. I have been there a few times and the service has been outstanding, they were straight with the repairs needed, and didn't seem to mind even if I brought my own parts. They were great with a 98 XC I brought once, then with my 98 V70 AWD, and recently with my brother's 89 245...
I think they are also an IPD dealer, so maybe some discounts on that side.

Yeah, Mike knows his stuff for sure. We are in there quite often as we have three volvo's. 79 blue 240, 86 white 240, 96 850 (maroon/red), and our old 81 yellow 240 is sitting behind his shop for parts.
