Thanks a million, Rich - I had set this beast aside for a few weeks due to local farmers' need for me to do some work, and because my first look convinced me that my Haynes Repair Manual would not provide me with much guidance. Previous posts on this site and brickboard elicited rather vague responses which centered around the theme, "It sucks to be you!" The extremely incompetent tow truck driver also destroyed the fan shroud and discarded the splash shield (you refer to it as an air dam), so I will check the local boneyard for these two items before heading to Lehman's Volvo - unless you have a better idea. Again, thanks to you, I will begin tomorrow to bring this sweet ride back to life. She's not a bad car, she's just been treated badly! rolleyes.gif

Try this on for an 850 (what 10 mph can do)

radiator support $455

radiator for AT $337

shroud for N/A $ 52
The new ride - White 1997 Volvo 855 GLT low pressure turbo
