There is a new volvo shop in Jersey. The place is called Highbloom Auto in Nutley, N.J. The owner's name (and one to repair the car) is Nick. He came from a Volvo dealer in the area and his family background is in Volvo. I would venture to say that it's in his DNA. I was up in the area and a friend had a series of problem. We headed over and it turned out he just opened a few days prior. He had great prices and had my boy covered like a jimmy hat . He said he was having a meet over at the shop from Turbobricks soon. I'm back down in Florida now, but anyone in the N.J. area looking for affordable and awesome volvo repair abilities has to check this place out. He was great to deal with. I let him know I was part of Volvospeed and he said if anyone called or mentions VS or Timmy he would "help them out" . Get directions or give a call but try to get over there. This guys is good!!!!

I bought my car from Nick, the guy is a volvo genius. I HIGHLY recommend him, he's a real nice guy, he's got fair prices, he knows everything there is to know about volvos. I'd write more but I'm in the middle of an Anthropology project due tomorro mad.gif

but definitely Nick rocks

After reading the previous positive posts about HighBloom Auto in Nutley, I wasted no time in arranging to have my daughter's 2004 S40 brought in.

I found the owner/mechanic Nick to be personable, extremely knowledgeable, and very friendly.

It is very apparent that he goes out of his way to please you.

He answers any questions you ask him about the service work.

He is the kind of mechanic that tells you what you need now and what can be put off awhile.

The first time you meet him, you feel confident this is someone whom you can trust.

I found his newly opened shop very clean and orderly.

The best part of this story is that Highbloom Auto is right down the street from me!

My daughter was very pleased with the work and found the repair charges extremely reasonable.

No more Volvo dealerships for her!!!

Anyone in the area would be foolish not to see Nick the next time their Volvo or other foreign auto needs repairs.

HighBloom Auto Service is located at 661 Bloomfield Avenue in Nutley NJ.

You can reach Nick at 973-661-4747

If I could, I would live at Nick's shop. He used to work at a volvo dealership, so he really knows his stuff. He will help you out with whatever you need, if your in Northern New Jersey, its worth the trip to Nutley. There really is no reason not to.

Nicky saved me again with one of the hundreds of spare parts he just keeps around for occasions such as this!

Was driving down route 3 when one of my ignition coils blew out. Felt like I screwed something up real bad, knew it was an ignition coil though from the last time he saved me. Limped into his shop he hooked me up with an amazing deal and got me running perfectly again.

Stand up guy, a valuable asset to the New Jersey volvo community. I won't go anywhere else with my car.

Seriously, im not sure if there are enough words in the dictionary to express how valuable this man is. Not only does he know everything about my car, but finding someone this trustworthy in this business is rare. completely changed my car by installing new control arms, ball joints, and tierods. Getting bumper fixed soon and huge brake job in the very near future. This guy makes me glad I drive a volvo. Remember what my car looks like now...cuz with nicky's help, it'll be a different monster very very soon.

I've finally had the chance to meet Nick in person. What a terrific guy! He's got endless knowledge of the cars and has all the Factory training to top it off. It's extremely nice to meet a Volvo Tech who is also passionate about the cars he works on. He's an asset to the Volvo community.

Nick is honestly one of the most honest techs I have ever met. He knows his way around a Volvo and on top of that he actually cares about the cars. He's always helping me out no matter how small the task. What I'm trying to say is: he's the only person that touches my car from now on

Everybody is wrong...Nick sucks.....

Not really though. happy.gif But yes, he's awesome!! Big Will and I took a little road trip down to his shop a few weekends ago and I was extremely impressed! His knowledge of these cars is outstanding, and he's quick to help you out if you have a question. You can really see his love for these cars, and I agree, it's definitely in his DNA. Keep it up Nicky!!

F.Y.I. guys.. NICK AND TIM ARE AWESOME!!!

just came back... they were fast, courteous, smart, intelligent, nice and most importantly Honest.

As you guys know our cars are terrific when they are running, but a huge headache when something goes wrong.

They were honest, they took my beater 850 and treated it like it was a 2009 s80 haha.

He diagnosed things in like 2 secs, where as somewhere else they would take 2 hours...and still not figure things out.

he replaced a ton of switches and lights..........WHICH HE OFFERED FOR FREE!!!

They are amazing and I would recommend.

i will be definitely maintaining a long term relationship with these guys.

I am planning on bringing my s60 2.5t awd when things start acting up.

Again TWO THUMBS UP!

and I am no way related to them in any way, shape, or form.

uggg, I just realized I forgot to post a followup, and for some reason I cant edit my original post.

ANYWAY, Nick was awesome. We went through everything I wanted done for 105k service, and then some, and he took care of me. He is very knowledgeable, easy to speak with, the kind of guy you can shoot the stuff with. He also did a bunch of little things for free like changing bulbs and changing oil, etc. I have also had bad luck with several mechanics in the past, and always felt like I got cheated, but Nick is the real deal. He is very honest and upfront. He will tell you straight up what you need, what you dont need, and his prices are fair considering what he does, and his skill level. T garage is a relaxed place, and I was welcomed inside right away to check things out. The spot is 40 minutes from me, but worth the trip for the quality of service and knowledge you get from Nick. Definitely bringing my car to him next time around. If you are in the area, you should stop by this place.
