1. I am in the middle of wiring up my manual trans. I used the link Manual Trans Wiring and i got the idea that everything can be cut out except for the green, red and green, blue, and blue and white wires. The blue ones go to the back up switch but what do you do with the red green and red wires? Do you soder them togeather or what? It doesnt really say what you soder it just said u need to.

2. The wagon is a 1994 Volvo 850 Turbo and there are a few plugs on it that i have left over and cant figure out what they are sapose to plug into. they are located infront and to the left of the brake reservoir.

Picture of the plugs

3. Also was wondering what this sucker is and where it mounts? All i can remember is that it mounts under the battery tray but i cant get it to fit anywhere. Also dont know if a vac line goes to it or not.

Picture of odd thing.

#3 is your cruise control. It goes under the battery tray (bolts to it IIRC) and there IS a vac line that goes to it.

That last thing you posted I THINK is called a purge valve. It has something to do with emissions. It was near/hooked onto the fan of my 96 850 turbo. It was broken so I bought a one way valve to replace it. I'm not sure which lines it leads to though. And you can disconnect your cruise control but I dont know if that vac line has any pressure running through it when the CC isnt activated. If it does then you will have to cap it off...

The last censor has to do with the charcoal canister and it just measure how much air is coming out of it.
