well, I registered for web-site. I went to original files and information their is the same as I posted before.
and what do you mean by that They look like manual/auto variants?
SOme of the ECU numbers are autobox and others are for manual variants. So if you can find one which is a Euorpean manual you have a file which does away with tha autobox input. Also, you could compare manual to auto and maybe figure out how to tweak auto maps to do away with the CEL and other possible issues.
do you know what kind program should I use to read files with extension .ori
I would have thought you would have read some of the sites content. In specific there are sections on software/hardware to use to do the programming yourself. However to answer your specific question you can run the demo version of WinOLS to view the file contents. It will scan the .ORI file and retrieve what it believes are MAPS for the cars fuelling, timing etc. However to give you a heads up go to the following page
WinOLS & User Manual and download the WinOLS demo program and the user manual. By reading the manual you will be shown how to use WinOLS and therefore how to find MAPS. On the chiptuners.org site there is an example given for the VAG TDI VP engines but the principles apply to any of the files, you just need to find what is what. It is a great insight. It can be viewed at
VAG TDI VP engine tune and you do not have to be registered to look.
I used this tool years ago when I was working on some of the volvo T5 tuning through this site. A lot of the info seems to have gone. Some remains. At the end of the day its not an instant get information process. You have to work at figuring it out and when it works its great. Its all part of the fun of doing this and more importantly doing it your self.
Once you start to get some where with WinOLS you can then use the likes of
Tuner PRO to create definition files for the file you are working on.
If you are short of time you can use the site to ask for a custom file. Many of the subscribers on the site are tuners by profession and may be able to accomodate your needs quite easily. YOu only have to ask.
I have some custom files for when I was working on a tuned file with the UK Upsolute rep. For those who do not know me from years ago on here my '95 855 GLT T5 was fitted with a later V70R engine and initially tuned to pump out over 300 BHP but was a pain to drive so it was screwed back to 285bhp and was a dream. Interesting Upsolute offer a V70R tune rated at 284bhp these days so other customers must have found this to be the best.
Anyway I hope the WInOLS and links are of help to you.
