I put up 20% in the front and 5% in the back windows....but the more i drive around i see more heads with 5 % all around...i know it LA..but everyone cant be a famous actor/actress........has anyone tinted their wind shield?

35% all around. No issues ever.

To my knowledge 35% and above is legal in all 50 states for any window except the windshield. You can put 5% anywhere except the front side windows and windshield. I think for the windshield you can't go lower then 7 inches from the top of the window, I know all rods have to have at least 7 inches of front glass when you chop the roofline. I could be mistaken though, it has been a while sense I have had to know these things.

I've talked to some OC pigs..and they told me unless your car is blacked out like a limo....there not going to mess with you unless they think theres something else in your car..that will lead to something bigger......i just really want to put 5% all the way around.......i see to any car..blacked out everyday and their sh....looks so dope...

yeah, each state is different. Someone in the past posted a list or a link to a site that gives the rules for each state.
I have 35% front (legal limit in Washington) 20% for the rest.
I see windshield tint all the time and it is easy to spot, but the cops here don't do anything about it until they get you for something else.

i dont know what cali's rules are but as for LA everythings different ha...its the home of entertainment so everyone wants to have their own space in theirs cars in traffic..........the cops only seem to mess with you ..if your in the hoods with darkass tint..

CA: Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 4 inches of the windshield.
Front Side Windows Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Back Side Windows Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window Any darkness can be used.

had a motorcycle cop pull up next to me while i sat at a red light, luckily my sunroof was open, i waved, he smirked and we both went our separate ways....
