I've always done the reversed power bleeding method, pressurizing a bottle full of fluid with a vacuum line submerged in fluid on one end and other on the bleeder valve. Get good pedal feel almost instantly that way. Get fully bled the second time around almost instantly. Have never had the reservoir overflow but see how it could happen

I'm just not big into drag racing the car. Cool. I go every once and a while but it ain't my thing. If I was into drag racing I would have something different. Last time I ran I went 103, 99, 103 for traps. I can probably get more, don't really care. Like I said, I don't get hung up on numbers at all because this isn't a drag car and I'm certainly not making any money.
Eric, most people on this forum don't have to wonder if they hit that cell ;-) Because they aren't tuning their cars anyway
Yeah, they can wonder if the guy who made their 150 dollar 'toon' enriched that cell enough
I know drag racing isnt the coolest thing out there, but its cheap, convenient, and can be competitive. Its the working mans race track. Totally ok not to like it, but trust me it is one of the few places where extra octane cant reallly hurt.

Joe, we are obviously looking from different angles here. I have seen trap speeds drop by a few mph by the end of a night at the drag strip. This is timing pull from detonation induced by heat soak, more often you see it in the summer.
Especially with stock intercoolers, and everything that comes with their stock location and its inherent heat soak, you are setting yourself up for lots of timing pull at the very least (and possibly some harmful detonation events), after sitting in the staging lanes between runs especially when it is hot outside. Maybe less so when it is cold.
Splash a few gallons of 110 and enjoy the feel of no timing pull. Enjoy launching your car hard and not wondering "hmm, i wonder if i hit a cell on the map we didnt hit while tuning the car?" And instead run hard and know you have a little extra octane to make your experience safer for your engine

With a 2.0 60' you are already launching very well.
My best 60's with BFG drag radials were 2.20 or so with the 19T setup. A little less tire, but they were still pretty sticky. At the time I bought MT streets, but couldn't fit them in the wheel well, I think they have more sizes these days (that was 5-6 years ago, holy crap).
To me the biggest improvement was being able to really quick shift second without losing traction, though I did spin the rims inside the tires a bit on many of the runs.
Fischmama, were you hooking when you grenaded stuff or spinning? Big difference in mode of failure. I did burnouts through the water box (wheel to the left, then turn it to the right, just to spin both tires with an open diff, surprisingly never broke anything).
I also was never able to put any nice runs together with the big turbo setup. My current car needs some front suspension attention before I try to go back, at which point I may go to better tires again.
If you ask me, the OP will definitely hit 12s. He is doing things right (for the track), and with tires like that it's just a matter of time.
My best was 13.31 at 107.4 I think, that was with a 19T and M56H, Upsolute tuning
Also 2.2 60 foot...
12s shouldn't be a problem if you can just get that launch down. To the peanut gallery, it is not easy with these cars and manual transmissions. Especially as you get into bigger turbos.
Also Joe, my grandma called, she said you're being a little conservative saying that mixing in some leaded gas occasionally will damage your O2 sensor
FWIW I mixed in 110 as often as I could. Was cat-less, but neither system O2 nor wideband was ever affected.
