Greddy Profec Spec 1 Gain Setting? And Wg Setting

profec B spec 1 is in. but just a little strangeness tho.

A) i get a bit more boost in 1st and 2nd gear than the rest. thoughts?

i started with the gain knob in the center, ran it a few times. it says if unstable boost happens, to turn it toward mild. so i then turned it to mild because i got some fade as usual, but it didnt seem to help any. thoughts?

C)should i start with the WG rod shortened or lenghtend a bit, and then adjust the gain from there?

D)what exactly is the gain adjustment doing on this device? what does taking it toward mild/sharp do?

Quick Q About Profec B Install

installing profec b EBC, for the solenoid input line should i keep it as close to the turbo as possible, or is the vac tree on the IN mani fine? the tech at greddy told me i could use the vac tree, but i forgot to ask him if one would prevent fade/creep better than the other. similar to having lines to long on an MBC.

an surely i would want the solenoid input/output lines as short as possible right?

ben hancock @ U-go motorwerks. been a good friend of mine for many years. the only person i let work on my car, and where i get 99% my used parts from. he is the volvomeister, and cheap too!

1-812-923-7032, tell him rick with the 850 told you to call and he'll probably give you a better price.

he has lots of 240/740/940, 850, s70 parts cars. so he'll probably have what you need.

just trying to help you guys out!

he also has a bunch of other misc. euro parts cars around. MB's and whatnot.
A 93 Front Bumper Will Fit A 95 Right?

well i want something better looking on the front of my 95, and i can not afford a R bumper, plus everyone has those. so i found a 93 bumper at the local pull apart JY for $35!!!. i like the look of the 93 bumpers a lot, so i'm going to get it if you guys say it will bolt up. pretty sure it does, i just want to be sure.
