Main reason I haven't gotten a BBK is because of price. It is just ridiculous.
The Bay is the best place I have found to get 993 calipers (mid 90's 911) once seeing a fairly used set for ~500. I assume that the stock S60R rotor is not the best choice for tracking but it is what size the calipers call for. You will also need a set of brackets for them. All in all it's hard to do all for corners for less than a grand unless you find a deal here on VS. As mentioned the most cost effective method would be to use track pads. I've had no experience with them but they should be worth a shot and will save you a lot of headache.
Running a BBK also requires a wheel that will clear it so that adds to cost. Also a tire with a shorter profile sidewall will have less flex and you will see more response in corners. That said a set of lightweight 17's may be what you need but I've been told that not all 17's clear BBK. That may just be the case with some of Volvos stock rims as most people on this board have.
A strut tower bar may be necessary to to keep your suspension together. Most say that they don't really notice a difference but then again they don't see the kind of load you will on the track. With HD endlinks and a set of coilovers you may need to consider it.
I may be telling you a lot of info that you already know but there it is for whomever needs it.
Good luck and I would like to see you and your car do well. -

Kinda? like using a worm clamp over the circumference of a hanger? Due to the hanger being to big?
If not try to elaborate! -
