Meatless Mondays?!?! What next, WTF Fridays? For those who have not heard about this, Meatless Monday AKA every monday, is a day you are not supposed to eat meat because it will save the planet. How? I have no idea. Living in the south for many years has taught me something. It takes a lot less carbon to slaughter a pasture of cattle than it does to harvest two thousand acres of green beans. I digress. What you eat is your business. I frankly do not care, unless we socialize health care then you better all be eating solent green, but it is being taught in schools now. For those of you with children in school now, does the food pyramid now look like this?

I'm half kidding half serious. Lets take it a step further. Now some schools are stopping children from eating meat in school on Monday. Usually I would throw San Fran or some place in PRK(California) under the bus, but Baltimore is now on the retard turnip cart. Again, I don't care what you or your kids eat, but isn't this a big nutty?

What a fluffy ass news day, bad puns intended. First across the RSS feed is Jessica Simpsons dogs is eaten by coyote. Ok that's sad. Its the second part thats off the wall though. She's offering a 5000 dollar reward.... I mean come on. A coyote, a buff-gray to reddish-gray carnivorous North American canid (Canis latrans) closely related to but smaller than the wolf, stole your fluffy mutt Daisy. Do you really not know what he was going to do with it? Here is a hint. Daisy is Maltipoo.

Next up. Obama calls Kanye a "jackass". Who cares. I mean why is this front page CNN. For the record I think Kanye is 100% gangsta. He does what he wants, but he is a jackass. If Kanye has any balls he needs to go back on the tonight show and say "Obama don't like black people".

In other news a JH student killed a burglar with a samurai sword. Thats pretty cool I guess. Not as cool as Obama killing a Malitpoo with a samurai sword, but hey. Its only Tuesday right?

South Beach Diet....... WTF is this nonsense, and why does it seem to reappear every few months. It was bad enough 3 years ago when all the goofy little hippie restaurants opened here with the south beach menu. Now its apparently back, only this time slightly revised. Who eats this crap? Its not even that healthy if you are an even moderately active individual. The whole plan lacks a reasonable supply of sodium, carbs, potassium, and.... OH YEAH, TASTE. Its amazing. It takes things that should taste good and then denudes them of all flavor. In addition it blends things into the most god awful textures ever. Quinoa pasta al dente.... I think not! Then there was this beast featured under quick breakfasts.

1 Mini pita
2 Slice tomato and place on top of pita
3 Sprinkle with spinich
4 Top with 1 egg
Bake 5 minutes at 350
5 Top with Feta

Pita..... yup tasty
Tomato....tasty
Spinich.....goes well in things
Egg....incredible and edible
Feta.....makes it betta

NOPE. Pure crap. Had no flavor what so ever. At least its healthy. That would be the case at least assuming you can choke it down. Egg over easy, filled with chunks of tomato pulp, spinach, whole wheat pita, with just a hint of feta chunks..... It feels like what embryonic stem cells look like......... pre-harvest. With that my list has been amended.

Its gone too far. What started out as a good thing has gone horribly wrong. Nitrile gloves for surgeons.... Ok sure that makes sense. Wearing them to clean a CV joint. Ok again I can see that. To change windshield wipers?!?!?! GTFO. Now its even worse though. This months Maximum PC has people sporting the trendy purple gloves to install everything from RAM to PCI cards. The same people who are wearing gloves to blow their nose, brush their cat, make their green tea, are probably the same people screaming "Think Green". I know how to think green. How about not using 20 pairs of rubber gloves each day between the time you take your morning leak and make your morning cup of brew. All you Howard Hughes MFers know who you are.
