I got a new key fob and I tried to reprogram my car using the 5 time to POS II, but the light on the dash won't blink/illuminate. The alarm works and the light flashes when I lock the doors. Fuses checked out OK.

What else can I check? Voltages at the harness to the keyless box behind the glove box, relay locations?

I'm trying to program a new key fob, I've tried the 5 times to pos II but I don't get any lights on the dash blinking. The old key fob worked when I lost it; I doubt the keyless unit would have gone bad in that time.

When I turn my key to pos II the only lights I get are SRS, ABS, TRACS, Oil and CEL. Shouldn't more lights be turning on?

Ever since my manual swap this switch has been a major PITA. It randomly pops out of the socket/square bracket thing and my brakes lights stay on. Are there any tips on how to correctly install this switch? Perhaps I got the wrong year switch and it just doesn't fit right?

I've had a FMIC on my car for a few years now and I'm not satisfied with my IAC connection, to say the least.




It hasn't ever blown off, but it looks ugly as hell. I'm redoing most of my piping and was wondering how to best route the IAC. An NA throttle body is going on at the same time so the diameters will be 3" (NA TB) and 2.75" (intercooler piping).

Just finished up my last semester and got a BA in Physics Engineering. I got a job doing printer work at a local hospital to tide me over till the summer. Then the carreer hunt begins!
