Victory!
Posted 13 Mar 2010

Fixed my whip, Lucas was right, ECT... so I replaced that with a new one from DW Volvo and its running... note to file, ETMS aren't switchable... I had one from a 99 S80 T6 in there (same as my car) and it idles like crap, when I pushed the gas pedal nothing happened half the time and the other half it worked but sluggishly...

S80 Black Dash
Posted 10 Mar 2010
I'm looking to finish my swap, I need a black dash, glovebox door and kick panels from an S80. The dash just needs to be in decent condition, no rips or tears and must not have had an airbag blown through it. I can either drive a little distance from Cincinnati or Chicago to pick it up. I can pay you as soon as you pick it up then I'll come and get it as soon as possible. Or if you're willing to hold onto it until Carlisle that works for me if you're from the NEC.
Let me know what you find!

Looking To Get A Cheap Welder, What Are My Options?
Posted 22 Feb 2010
A buddy of mine and I have been talking about getting a welder, something to do basic exhaust work and other small bodywork/fabrication for some small projects.
I was wondering what everyone has here (if they have one) or recommendations on what to get. I know how to Tig and Mig Weld so either would be a good option, looking to keep it under $500 probably, and preferably no gas (just because I don't want to have to leave gas cylinders in my garage when not at home when I go back to school. I have no large preference but I'd just like to get something relatively simple for small projects, if theres any big things I need welded I have a buddy that can help us out in a pinch.
What do you have/any recommendations for something simple, easy to use, preferably 110v and gas free.
