I understand that upgrading my turbo (98 C70 HPT M56) is doing to decrease the reliability, but is there a reliable way of running a T3/T4 without opening the motor?
Anyone willing to share their experience with running a T3/T4 and how reliable has it been? What are the exact parts/tuning for your setup?
I'm wanting to stay away from 18/19T's. I'd rather have more top-end power and no rod bending if possible.
Please assume my car is stage 0, as it has had a full dealer service history its whole life.
I'm ready to get started on my bone stock C70, so i'm just trying to figure out what route I want to take!
Can someone give me some more insight on what is required to run a eBay T3/T4 setup? Anyone have any personal experience with the reliability of these turbos? I use my car as a DD, so I don't want a setup that is going to constantly require work. I'm just looking to do everything right the first time around, so any information would be appreciated.
