Does the R bumper bold right up the S60? And what is that lip?

It bolts straight up to an '03 S60 but I believe he '04 is slightly different under the skin. The lip is from the S60R's body kit.

    Nice find Emiel.. ;)

    Area 55 update....

Not much going at the moment.

First of all there was the personal stage eleventy tuning.. A couple of visits to a technician, a tooth technician that is. I became the happy owner of a piece of titanium in my upper jaw..
November 8th we had a "Nordicturbo" meeting planned at the same race track we have visited earlier this year but because the placing of the implant was scheduled 3 days before I decided not to enter my car for the track session. Fortunately all went pretty well so November 8th I went to the meeting just to take look.. Glad I didn't enter for the session because the whole track was fogged up and it stayed that way for the remainder of the day. The track session was cancelled after waiting a couple of hours.

It was nice to take SD4 out on the road again. Have been driving SD7 most of the time.

Still driving SD7 on a near daily basis.. Didn't start the rebuild yet simply because there is no engine..
After lots of promises the engine should have been shipped from the UK on October 28th but to date I didn't receive anything, not even shipping papers or a tracking number.
As long as there is no engine I also don't know which extra parts are needed to fit the engine.

So far I have sourced the MTX75 gearbox and bought the C30 1.8 shifter cables and cable bracket, it's a Ford C-max gearbox which had a slightly different cable bracket but all other is the same as the FordVolvo.

There's the Cosworth intake manifold, the Miltek 4-2-1 header manifold and a passenger side driveshaft.

If nothing is clear about the engine halfway next week I'm going to cancel the whole thing. Pretty fed up with the way this is going. Didn't look for other engine's yet because each time new promises were made and each time delivery was postponed by another week. This coming Monday delivery time will reach 3 month. I guess each country has it's VMS..

The project plans are still the same.

The C30 has been partially stripped but some more interior parts need to go. The Sparco seats will go in and maybe a GT3 style rollbar will go in at a later point. Together with the 2.3 engine the total weight will probably be below 2425 lb.

The engine, if it ever arrives, is a Ranger Duratec HE which is a simplified version of the 2.3 Duratec as used in the Euro Mondeo and some other Ford models. It comes without a balance shaft, slightly lesser weight crank and no VVT. It should be capable of doing 170 crank HP out of the box. If the engine is delivered the way I was told it was put together there might be a HP or 20 more in there, this is if the EMS plays nice of course. Together with the reasonable short gearbox it should make a nice performing setup between ~60 and 125 mph. Some added topspeed would be nice but not a must.

Two other future upgrades for this car, larger front brakes and wider rims with wider track. Currently using 18x7.5 ET50 rims with 215/45-18 tires but at some point this will be changed to 18x8 ET40 rims with 225/40-18 tires simply because they have proven to be a huge improvement on the C30.

So, I hope I can post a couple of pics of the engine soon.. ;)

I don't think line "A" is connected correctly. Basically it is the oil return connection at the block and is channeled all the way to the bottom of the sump. It should be connected to the bottom of the catch can.
Connection B is the vent hole for the block.
