Eyeing A Manual Swap Into 98 V70 Glt Wagon

So I got this complete swap from 97 850 (m56, shift cables with shifter, pedal combo, clutch line with slave and master, etc).
Now I'm trying to figure out what from this kit would fit into a 98 V70 glt.
Will pedal combo work at all? What about shifter with cables?

Recent Development: After A Good Warmup While In Park Car Feels Like Surging

03 V70 non-turbo 5 speed auto 177K miles.
it's felt under the hood and through the body of the car.
rpm gauge sits at normal idle rpms.
only when i put in park i feel these surges. when i put it in drive and stationary surges go away.

what's there to check? vacuum? lines? ignition coil?

help appreciated.

after a warm up this happens if I am in park and push the accelerator pedal.
what could it be? substance looks like dirty water. happens like this: I push the accelerator pedal, get a cloud of white-slightly bluish smoke and then it spits out this dirty what-looks-like water substance.

171K miles on the odometer.
