Hey guys, Bob (rsterns) is coming down from Lompoc with his '98 V70T5 (18T, rods/pistons, etc.) and he and I are going to have our cars dyno'd at Bottle Blown Racing in Camarillo on the morning of Saturday, July 7th. It's $100 for three pulls with all data, etc. If 5 or more come the price drops. Bob and I are committed even if no one else comes. Anyone interested?
I had all new subframe mounts and motor mounts done recently during a clutch swap, using OEM Volvo parts. Ever since the swap I've noticed excessive engine movement in the form of drive train rebound. I finally pulled the passenger wheel and had a look at the lower front mount while a friend pushed/pulled on the engine and, although the mount looks new, and is bolted down properly, the rubber part of the mount allowed what looked like excessive movement. It seemed to stretch and extend too much back and forth. Naturally, I want to replace it, but my concern is that the replacement part will do exactly the same thing, since the part is fresh and is already Volvo brand.
