  1. Any Axle Back Exhaust Parts

    Posted 18 Oct 2009

    Hi,

In case anyone has the axle back part of an aftermarket or custom exhaust kit (for an 850 t5), id be interested in taking a look at what you have. 3" preferred, but 2.5 or 2.75 will work. Im most especially looking for the piece that curves over the axle. My exhaust right now dumps right before the rear axle, im looking to extend it to make a full exhaust.
  2. Trouble Removing Door Lock Cylinder

    Posted 6 Aug 2009

    Hi,

I removed my front drivers and passenger door handles to repaint them. I was able to remove the handles with the door lock cylinders installed. Based on a thread posted here in the past ( http://volvospeed.co...1&#entry1610273 ), a member said that he was able to reinstall the handles with the lock installed. Ive tried for the past couple of hours with no luck.

I then went with my second option of removing the door lock cylinders. The instructions in the Haynes manual seem simple. It says to simply to insert the key into the lock cylinder and insert a small screwdriver into the spring plate and push in. At the same time, you can pull the lock cylinder out.

Ive tried both pushing in on the spring plate and spreading the retaining ring while keeping the key turned at 45 and 90 degrees. Unfortunately after a few hours of trying almost everything, nothing seems to work. All of this is taking place while the handle is off of the car.

If anyone has any other tips, they would be greatly appreciated!
  3. Schroth Racing Harness

    Posted 25 Jul 2009

I am selling one Schroth Rallye 3 Harness. It looks like a 4 point harness, but only needs 3 mounting points. Functionally the belt is perfect, it has never been involved in any collision. Cosmetically, the Schroth logo on the belt is rubbed off, and the plastic part of the buckle has some very light (barely visible) normal wear.

This belt is DOT approved according to SoloRacer.com, more information on the belt can be found here: http://www.soloracer.com/rallye3.html.

Belt sells new for $149, asking $60 plus shipping. I can only ship to the United States.

The second half of the belt is still in the car, it will be removed upon sale.

  4. Corbeau Forza Racing Seats

    Posted 24 Jul 2009

    Hi,

I am selling my Corbeau Forza racing seats. As you can see in the pics, one of them has some significant cosmetic damage, and the other is in pretty good condition with only minor rips, stains or tears. The red fabric on the tops of the seats are also a bit faded, but once in the car, you cant see too much of it.

These are fixed back, FIA approved racing seats. They can be used in cars, buggys, boats, Karts etc.. They have a bottom mount, unlike side mount Sparco seats. These have never been in a collision, minor or major.

More info on these can be found here http://www.soloracer...rbeauforza.html

These sell for $229 EACH, but due to the condition, I am only looking for $50 for the PAIR.

I will not ship these, I live in South Florida and I can do a local pickup in the Deerfield Beach, Boca Raton, or Delray area. If you have any friends in the South Florida area looking for racing seats for any of the applications listed above, let them know.

Here are a few picures, I can take more detailed pics of all the angles on request.
