Feeler: 17x7.5 Comets W/ Tires

Recommended Posts

I am looking into some TD Wheels or something light weight gunmetal or black

I have 17x7.5 Comets with Falken 912 215/45/17 tires with less than 5k on them (only seen summer weather)

all the wheels are in good condition one has minor curb rash but it is not bad

one wheel has a minor bend but holds air fine and you really can not tell it is a bend when they wheels are mounted.

I bought these tires for $350 and the wheels for $550

I am looking for $800 + Shipping obo

Thanks!

This tire was rated by Consumer Reports as one of their top picks. I have these tires and they are great. Not ultra loud or too hard just perfect for this size IMO. GL with the sale dave

Thanks John

they are great tires and have very sturdy ride

I really do not want to sell these but I might jump away from OEM wheels (yikes)!!!

I saw your ad while i was cruising craigslist  I would think about trading my Volans for those if you're interested. I would want the tires too so I would pay some cash... the only catch is that you would have to paint the Volans back to their anthracite color as they are rattle can silver right now. They have bald tires on three of them so if you buy new tires for them then the shop would probably dismount them for free. Also, we could just do the exchange at your house or something.

curious, if you have any rubbing with this combo on the 850 if it is lowered? Gonna be running the same setup this Spring

Bump for sexy OEM wheels

215/45/17s may rub if lowered. When my parents got their first Yellow, they had Toyo Proxes tires in that same size and they rubbed at full lock. Either than that, they were all good.

Good luck on the sale Dave. I'd buy them if I had the monnies :(.................. unless you wanna trade for a set of Columbas with worn tires AND Dracos with snow tires :P.

Adam /Oreo has these on his lowered 850... I do not think he has rubbing

I do not need to sell these but it would be nice to change the wheels... thanks for all the kind words

Stay out of people's threads if you don't have anything constructive to say. You want to go try and source a set of comets with quality tires for less than he's asking? Good luck.

And Dave got those tires last spring before our NEC install day, they are brand fucking new. Oh wait, you weren't even a member on here when he got them.
