first off, ABC's digital audio feed is COMPLETE CRAP. seriously, no rear channel and the center was entirely weak. I will say the video was nice except for the brief snafu in the first half.

fact of the matter is, Michigan played one hell of a game and USC did not. If Michigan doesn't stay #2, there is a conspiracy, cause USC did not and still does not deserve a top 5 rating. sorry pras.

I saw part of the game while I was getting an oil change today. What's the deal with all the pot leaf stickers on the Ohio helmets? Some type of midwest hippy school?

A sticker for a positive play...Columbus was crazy today...still here benefiting from the afterparties!!

Well, after having what is considered to be probably one of the top 3 toughest schedules in the NCAA, I would think USC deserves to be in the top 3. I will give you that Michigan played one hell of a game, and yeah, I wouldn't argue that they should probably still play in the Championship, but I'll also side on the conspiracy side. No one really wants to see OSU and Michigan play again. The championship would then be useless, meaningless, because they've already played, and OSU already won, albeit by 3 points. All the more reason not to play AGAIN. If Michigan beats OSU in the National Championship, then we'll say, okay, they're even-steven, it could go either way, I guess we'll just have two national champions again. If OSU wins AGAIN, then we'll say, well, we already knew that they were better, why the hell did they have to play again to prove it?

So, to side on the consiracy theorists' side, I'll say, IF USC WINS OUT, they should be in there playing for the championship, if not cuz they just had the hardest stretch of scheduling of any team in the NCAA, and won out, then because it'll mean a ratings bonanza.

However, I still have to disagree that USC didn't play one hell of a game. They beat a ranked team, that always causes problems for USC, and they beat them by 2 uber-stylish touchdowns, and an amazing 49 yard field goal by a guy who had never kicked one in a game, ever.
