laird
I need to know the thickness of the rings on Mahle aftermarket pistons. Does anyone have one laying around to measure.I can get a set of Mahle rings from FCP but they are $65 per hole. Summit racing has Mahle rings in the correct bore size (2 four cylinder sets for $180) but I am not sure of the thickness. The stock pistons have thicker rings than the Summit/Mahle rings hence the question. I get good comp. readings but I am concerned by a little blow by. I am still having valve seal issues so when I have the head off, I thought I would do the rings. Thanks, Laird
