An Hour With A Power Ball And Autoglym Resin Polish

Had some time today to dedicate to finally polishing my car...I bought it a year ago, and given that it lived it's life as a San Deigo sun bleached car, the black was less than black...

Couple months back I picked up a power ball and some Autoglym Resin Polish, well, today I finally got down to it.

And all I can say is WOW :o the difference is amazing...see below for some roof shots

Then I quickly whipped up the road for some shots. Not the most inspiring location, but it works...

All in all I am completely blown away with how this has transformed the paint...still a ton of scratches etc...but the color...wow...it's black again!

Ballin' wagon. Sometimes I am on the fence about how certain 850s look but yours is hot. Excellent detail work.

Do you have a link to pics of your 240?

Oh and fyi...

If anyone asks how p2 sidemarkers look on an 850 this is the pic that they should see.

Clean ride.

Thats your clear coat getting ready to take a stuff on you :(

Perfect time to get a respray before its too late and it has to all be sanded off.

Mine used to look like that....then it took that stuff and now it looks like stuff....

2 questions:

1) how much do you think it costs to clear coat a sedan

2) do you know if the yellow T5R has clear coat...i don't think it does.....

Not surprised that the clear coat is on it's way out...it's 14 years old and I'm sure it's lived in the hot California sun for 98% of it's life.

I'll keep it waxed and upkept for as long as I can...getting this resprayed anytime soon is not on my list.

Here is a large collection of pictures of the 245...
