flaco
We all have seen the abs/tracs info on bay 13, for those who havent. here is the link:http://volvospeed.com/Repair/abstrax.phpMy question is, who has any info about the 'weak crimping of the sensor wiring directly underneath the fuse box', stated on such article? Mine is precisely a 96 850, and since the ABS module has been replaced twice I'm looking elsewhere... Since the 96 has the fusebox on a different location than the pre-95 cars, will it be required to remove the whole fusebox to get at such connections? Where and which ones are we talking about? flaco
Just in case anyone needs this info in the future, I was able to fix my ABS/TRACS light problem by removing the old crimps and soldering the wires under the fuse block. REMEMBER I've already replaced the ABS module *twice*, so I knew it couldn't be bad. Whether the original module was indeed bad or not I'll never know....Here are the links to the posts that helped me solve my problem:http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/lofiversion...php/t10049.htmlhttp://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/lofiversion....php/t3693.htmlIt is not needed to completely remove the fuse box, but just to lift it enough to pull both sensors wiring. The relays in the fuse box from inside the car need to be removed tho. Maybe this info should be added to the bay13 ABS page?
