Guest Guest_bullittandy_* Posted March 30, 2008 Report Share Posted March 30, 2008 There are several engine mounts on the the 01 + V70, the most notorious is the top one but there is also a small mont on the bottom of the engine that reduces front to back movement. the top one fails often, as does this one. The bottom one is a small bracket with two rubber bushings about 1/2" diameter and the rear bushing on my car failed completely. There is an aftermarket solution, about $85 for poly mounts and the dealer wants $90 to special order it. Or.....Go to any auto parts store and get "Help!" part #31017 shock absorber bushing, it fits almost perfect within the stock housing and requires only minor trimming.$4 repair for no more engine vibes.
