  1. Lookin great dude! When are you back in RI?
  2. They gave her a 93 Volvo as a loaner car? That sucks! lol
  3. "Bullshit asshole, no one likes the tuna here!" Pics with a US plate or it didn't happen :D
  4. Blue interior was 93 only on the 850. never heard of it on the s70 For me, and i was so close to owning a set. It was the power folding mirrors. Was dealing with the import from japan back when i had the 98, i was willing to pay the original 480 shipped, but then the Owner got shiesty and jacked the price to 890. Asshole umm.. how about rear parcel self cargo cover for the 850 wagons? I've only seen 1 in real life before. a yellow 850 wagon had it with rear hatch window shades. also rare or 93 850 wagon?
  5. Almost done with prep. spent about 15 minutes on a power sander at work, shaped to perfection. just a little bit more filing, sanding and some spot puddy and these things will be ready for primer, installed by the weekend.
  6. How functional are they? don't you have to wait for them to warm up? Seems like they would be terrible to initiate but would be nice on long back roads where you only have to flash them off for the occasional oncoming traffic?
  7. Yep! i did about 200 degrees for around 8-10 minutes. I pryed at the first one, the second one i left in the oven a little longer and it popped off like warm butter. i used the clips to pop my headlights back together after i saw that there was no way for my to finish due to the rain, so rather than rush and have them look good from 5 feet. because the lenses are just held on by the clips i can pop them off at any time. once the bezels are finished i will seal them up with silicone. but at least this way i can finish them to the intended nose against the glass closeness level of detail.
  8. This is way more of a pain in the ass than i originally expected. Didn't help that its been raining all weekend. But onward they go toward completion. Finals will be black, as they were originally.
  9. :D i love this car. can't wait to see it done!
  10. haha, yes i reach out and type in my destination. it has a QWERTY keyboard so i can type pretty quick on it, and with its auto selection i can pull up my destinations in seconds. i just did another one for an XC90 last night. I could justify the cost of doing this, did it all for around $200 including buying the nav. plus its a drop in unit into another car so it will be easy to migrate or sell when i move on.
  11. ewww no! lol i would much prefer to just have the black dash. I have the aluminum trim for the glove box and the doors. I think with the wood removed it will look fine.
  12. yeah, this car came from the factory with it. Its nice looking, but its kind of clashing with what i am doing with the car. might get rid of it soon
  13. Finished my OEM style nav: Motorized Garmin 1450LMT 5.1" screen Factory Bezel
  14. haha, ive been crazy busy with school and work. lots going on to the car right now. and the white one is stock... possible DD.
