  1. I've been thinking about this doing something about this in the back of my mind; I hate how far my clutch depresses. What did you come up with?
  2. Man, so sorry to here about this. Part of the reason I went with Wiseco pistons is because of your build. But, alas, everything ends. It looks to me like when your piston was on the down stroke, it was extending downward enough for the rod to come in contact with the skirt. That would explain the slight bend in the skirt, and the stress cracks/fractures. i.e: The skirt was being bent out ever so slightly from the inside by impacting the rod; then, probably bent back into position by the bore on the upstroke. Do this enough times, and BAM stress cracks. Are there any signs of contact on the rods? Also, I don't remember, is this a B5244T3 block? If not, did you also use the crank from a B5244T3 along with the Piston/Rod setup from it? I only ask because the B5244T3 crank as a 92mm circumference, as apposed to the 90mm of the B5234T3. This allows the rod to be in a difference place when rotating than on the 90mm. It is a small difference, but enough to allow for clearance. Just a thought...
  3. Sure looks better, but also emphasis the need for moar low on that Saffy
  4. I do not currently have any watches, as I really do not like having things on my wrist. But, I am thinking of trying to break this aversion with purchasing a Slow Watch; specifically the Slow Jo 06 38mm style. Anyone have any experience with these? Are they worth the price? https://www.slow-watches.com/the-store/slow-jo-38mm?
  5. The intake is a bit louder, meaning that if you rev up to a little over 2K, then let it drop, you get a sneeze. Performance wise... meh... That is my quickly made, temporary fix for a fresh air feed. It's a piece of 3" sewer pipe that is ovaled to fit between the intercooler and the top bar. Mind you, it was meant to be temporary, but has been on the car for like, 3 years. Someday I will get around to finishing the fresh air part of the piping.
  6. Flipped the battery 90 degrees and mounted the reservoir tank for the Methanol
  7. The tailgate latch broke yesterday. Couldn't open it with either release. I had to climb in from the rear doors and dissemble the tailgate to access the thing to get it to release. Installed one from a junkyard today.
  8. Replaced the rear rear sub-frame mounts on my CL600. Was a bit tricky since the rear sub-frame and differential weigh 1,000lbs! (the Differential is 500lbs of that, seriously, I should have taken a pic of it, the damn thing is about 11" wide and 19" long). Here's a shot of makeshift pressing the drivers side in: The hardest part was getting the sub-frame to realign. It moved forward about 10mm while it was loose. Took just about all I had to get it back into position.
  9. Fixed leaks from the pass. side of the trans (new seal), and installed a missing seal on the driver's side of the BG. After, I finally drove it fast enough to shift into 6th gear.
  10. Started converting the back seat area to storage to make it a two seater with flat floor cargo area:
  11. Meh, staged: good piece of choreography, not staged: bet she can't do that in a street fight.
  12. Both True: but, it's also the most hipsters-per-capita. That out weights both of them.
