  1. I agree. The stock wheels are not great, but I think they can pass as OKAY when the car is lowered. I'm gonna swap the wheels eventually but I'm undecided about what to get. I have my Rotiform TMB wheels in the garage, but I'd need to change to a larger tire size, and I'm not sold on how they look on MK7. I've only found one pic online: I also like the golf R wheels (though they are 19") and neuspeed RSE10
  2. Omg I have that sticky throttle feeling too! I just chalked it up to barely driving the car. Maybe the tb assembly needs oiling?
  3. This is exactly me every time I drive my car 😄
  4. The pics are still there. I don't have the time to rehost them. You can get around the photobucket block by installing a plugin on chrome. I use this one: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-hotlink-fix/kegnjbncdcliihbemealioapbifiaedg?hl=en Alternatively, you can view the entire album of dash repair pics here: http://s104.photobucket.com/user/iamawass/library/Dash Repair
  5. I am not a fan of the 034 insert. It eliminated wheel hop and smoothed shifting, but transferred too much vibration to the cabin, so i took it out. This is on my 14 GLI with DSG, so take it with a grain of salt. Agreed on the JB4 - love mine.
  6. haven't done much to the yellow other than drive it occasionally. on the vw, i had the roof and window trim wrapped in black vinyl
  7. Depends on what type of case we're talking about. In a civil case, the short answer is probably not. If a driver is texting and causes an accident, it's hard to imagine there would be any dispute as to liability. So, if a case like that ever went to trial, the attorney for the driver would admit that the driver was responsible, and the video would probably not come into evidence. The idea is that the video is largely irrelevant because the driver already admitted fault, and to show it would be unfairly prejudicial to the driver because the jury would likely use it against the driver in awarding damages to the injured person. As a plaintiff's attorney, I would try my best to get it into evidence, arguing that it's relevant to show the severity of the collision, injuries, etc., but it probably would not be admitted into evidence. On the other hand, in a criminal case, it is much more likely to come into evidence.
  8. Just front. If you get hit from behind, it's generally considered to be the other person's fault. Plus, you have the front camera recording, so if you are at a stop and someone bumps you from behind, you'll have the footage to show that you were not backing up or something like that.
  9. Nice! I just put a Rexing V1 in my DD. Everyone who drives should get one of these.
