  1. Wow, I gave you my number to call me, I gave you a email address to send pictures to. I am over it. You just fucked up in the way you did stuff. this is the most communication I got from to you. doesn't matter now, like you said, either way. Last time you will hear about it from me.

You also started mis information about th jl amps.

Do you even wonder why I stopped communicating with you? It's how you assume I am good with a 3rd unknown party picking up the merchandise, being not available(volcano interior) is a moot point(I am not, Justin knew this when he bought my Propus wheels). You want something pay for shipping or pick it up. That way, you don't like what you see, don't buy it.

"ok, if you cant locate a seat by may 19th then i guess i will have to take myself out of the running to buy the interior. i would still like to see the pictures of what i would be getting."

    steve "

Why would I send you pictures if you take yourself out of the transaction? No different than if a customer came into your store saying your gonna do this now, sell it to me at cost, and my buddy will pay for it and pick it up when your done. You would say, "there's the door"

  2. I used to agree with you until, you flaked with the interior. Now you talking trash about jl audio which you obviously know nothing about. Slash series it's still current product just revised with version 2. Jl also has RIPS technology, Regulated Internal Power Supply . Regulated from 1 to 4 ohms and power from 11 to 14.5 volts. Thus the 500 watts it states is what you get no bull no austin powers...just real deal power. On anothernote th he new

    Hd series are awesome.

LOL, the interior deal is all on you. If you want something, pay for it and go get it(when something is ACTUALLY for sale, at the time it was NOT, you just assumed). Interior is long gone, get over it.

BTW: The slash series is older, just pointing out a fact. HD's are newer, with XD's being the newer still(not breaking news). While I was not praising the amplifier I feel my post showed no negatives, other than the picture of the wire kit looked cheap.

I have the biggest soft spot for JL Audio.

Once my wiring kit, capacitor and line level converter arrive I'll install everything. I'm going to put a distribution block on the + after the cap for ease of future expansion as well. I'm still on the fence about a subwoofer(s).

I do know that this amp will produce 500/1 @ 1 to 4 ohms which will suit so many different subwoofer/voice coil setups. That was the main attraction. I've been studying the manual for the amp a lot, I plan on using all those settings to my advantage. There's just so many ways to tweek the sound quality as you can see. :D

Hopefully that was a generic picture of a wire kit and not the actual kit, looks too cheap. Might as well use two distribution blocks then. The Slash series amplifiers is almost all discontinued(older tech). Just because the amp manufacturer states something does not make it true. Stay between 3-4 ohms and you should be fine.

  4. Ok, I just looked up the stuff. I didn't know the RIT dye you use on fabrics works on the other trim pieces too. But damn, 3 bucks for a box of powder! I'm going to have to do this.

Old hobby trick. Joann Fabrics had them for sale for ~$1.70 a box. I didn't add any salt, but the water I used was high in alkalinity and pH. Best results so far are heat to boil, reduce to below simmer, small parts take about 10 minutes. Larger parts will take longer, but you will need to monitor the change to keep the parts uniform. Just a word of advice, the finish or the condition the parts are now will be the same for when they are dyed. Simply put, if they are dull and scratched up then the will look dull and scratched but black.

  5. Yeah, the dyed one looks way better, looks factory since you can still see the texture of the plastic. What dye did you use? The bumper trim dye? I want to do this, but I don't know what I would do with the "fabric" sunroof trim.

Plain old RIT dye, black. Yeah the sunroof trim is a bit large. Will need to make a container large enough to do it all at once.

  6. Damn that looks nice. So is that dye or paint? I want to do my ceiling trim pieces black since I have the black headliner, but If people are touching the oh shit bars, is that stuff going to rub off on their hands?

Middle clip is the one that's dyed. Color is pretty far into the plastic. Does not come off. SEM brand interior paint on right. Called a dye, but only topical. Leaning towards the dye since to do your trim would proabably cost a few dollars. Probably should use a UV protectant of some kind.

  7. Dude get the right color fog switch, sticks out like a sore thumb, i'll grab one at the yard for you for free. I'll bring it up when I grab the door handle and stickers.

Anyway put the stylin' vac kit on and T-bolts. Got boost levet up to about 13 psi now, should be 15, thinkin' the TCV is crap.

Not really a big deal if the switch color does not match. More than likely though you could take the back portion of the switch and the decal and transfer it over to a gray switch. Should not be too difficult of a swap if you want matching switches.

  8. Rbumpers there multipliying

    these go on

did some work in the trunk of the coupe.

drove the wagon for the first time in a week , hmm almost forgot what fast was lol

Dropped of the Team Dynamics from Josh off at the PC along with strut bar and fuel rail cover and intake mani

hmm I am forget some stuff but you get the idea lol

I am surprised by two things.

    1. John Deere yellow pegs, and they look sweet.

    2. Picture you took is clear, more surprised by this one.

  9. More info? Will it even work on a manual?

Install info is on my photo album. I used the standard module, but there is a deluxe version that tilts both mirrors. Unit comes setup to tilt mirror after car is in reverse 1sec, then goes back when taken out of reverse. I did the second programming option that you go into reverse, neutral, reverse to make the mirror tilt. I rarely parallel park, but I was bored and thought it was neat. Modules are universal and will fit most vehicles from it's design. KP technologies makes the unit, but I bought a rebranded one by Tokensolutions since the price was better. They are open to group guys and have other cool modules that I like.
