  1. Haha it's certainly been a while! Nice to check in and see everyone still active. I just came out to Phoenix in May, nothing like moving to the desert in the summertime...
  2. Awesome to see this coming together Andy!
  3. Waiting for the auto transport to pick up and haul it back to CT to its new forever home. It's been a great few years, and this was probably my favorite vehicle out of all that I've owned. This will basically be my first time going Volvo-less since earning my drivers license. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a semi-emotional sendoff. Why do cars do this to us?!
  4. You're the first person that I've come across with that opinion, and I did a lot of searching (both Volvo forums and else) to come to my decision to buy them. Hopefully it's just your opinion.
  5. Yeah I forgot black wheels on bright blue paint looks good
  6. Are you talking OEM or the Akebonos I bought? OEM make my wheels black after a week.
  7. I can't wait, it seems like a solid combo from the research that I've done. Are you going ceramic? The brake dust from OEM pads is atrocious and I cannot wait to have consistently clean wheels.
  8. Rode my bike to work this morning..I too am enjoying this final week of November. This winter is fixing to be brutal.
  9. Let me know if you have another lucky find, I'm about to do some exhaust work and having one of these would open up some options. I may just need to do a little custom work to make it fit my '06. Speaking of the OR, doing pads and rotors all around. 4x Zimmermann rotors: F + R sets Akebono Euro Ceramic: Kinda nice to spend some money on a car again.
  10. Some '98 T5Ms came with an internal slave M56, depending on the vin split.
  11. I'm assuming you mean the 690 Duke then, the SuperDuke is a 1290. Surprisingly, for being a liter bike, the FZ1 is extremely refined and manageable.
  12. That's more like it. Have you looked at the FZ1? Solid, solid bike.
  13. Thanks man! I ended up with a free weekend so I split out of town early Saturday, rode to Amsterdam to visit my grandmother, raced the sunset from there to Lake Placid and camped for the night. Sunday morning I did a quick climb up Whiteface and then hit the road back to Rochester. Perfect weather, empty roads...it was simply amazing.
