  1. Camshaft removal - size of bolts?

The 40 10mm bolts that hold the cam cover down are all that hold the cams in place.  There's also 3 tight-fitting dowels between the head and cam cover, so bring something you can pry with.  Screwdriver to get the distributor cap off.  Can't remember what size the cam sensor screws are, but I think that needs to come off as well. What else am I forgetting?
  2. 850 Single mass flywheel

I've got one ready to go now.
  3. Post A Picture Of Your Latest Purchase

I wish!  From what I understand, the only W202 chassis to get a manual (Diesel) only got a 4-spd.  Sloppy box is fine, I guess.
  4. Post A Picture Of Your Latest Purchase

Some of the voices put an idea in my head, so I tried something different.  AMG C36.
  5. Where is everybody????

I bought Danny's VST's and mocked them up on my T-5R.  No way to make them fit inside the wheel well, so never actually ran them.  I included them with the car when I sold it to Kraske.  Brian Fetters sold the yellow wagon, not sure where it ended up.  Sold his wife's manual-swapped red 855R as well, and had a Laser Blue VR briefly.  Sold that, grabbed another red 855R.
  6. Andy's 1999 V70 R

Having recently completed a rack replacement on my VR, I'll go ahead and comment it's a pain in the ass.  Not a whole lot of room with the bevel gear and sway bar in the way. If I EVER have the need to do it again with an AWD, I'll drop the whole subframe and not just the rear.
  7. I may know someone very interested in this.  I'll spread the word.
  8. Where is everybody????

I guess some of us just don't get the word out enough.  Several times during the summer I worked with some other south Sound owners to meet for breakfast in Tacoma, but those arrangements were usually made on Facebook.  Anyone who wants to meet up, or meet more of the quiet locals, just get in touch with me.  Seems there's something happening at my house at least one weekend a month.  Downside is, my house is in Bremerton.
  9. Project 95

Had to get that wheel from New Zealand.  Why couldn't we get cool stuff like that here?
  10. Begining my manual swap

Location?  Maybe a local can help guide you.
  11. 901 radio in a 850

I had the 901 in my T-5R.  If you're careful and patient, you can pull the faceplate off the 901 and paint to match the rest of the black trim on an 850 dash.  Then carefully remove the paint from lettering using a sharp knife or something.
  12. What Did You Do To Your Car Today.

Tires are junk.  Both rear tires have cracks on the sidewall and don't really hold air.  Front are so-so and hold air, but also show cracks.
  13. How Your Car Sits

  14. What Did You Do To Your Car Today.

Laugh now, I'll have some bigger tires on it tomorrow.  No monster truck, but this stuff looks terrible!  Even my son is hiding his face!
  15. What Did You Do To Your Car Today.

Time to swap wheels around again. The 205/45 on the Neptunes are too skinny, going with 225/45 tomorrow, same size as the Saab wheels on the VR.
