    Welcome back!

It's slow here most days, but there are still some of us kicking around.

ARD has been gone for a bit now, but there are much better tuners now that are actually tuning correctly and more in-depth with better understanding.

P80s have been hard to locate lately, and the price has definitely increased over the last 5-10 years substantially.
Locally im seeing stock 98 s70s and v70s go for 4-6k with 140-200k miles on them.   850s are commanding between 3500-6000 as well.   YMMV of course, but good luck!
Couldnt find a p80 v70 to save my life, so bought a P2 for what we'd pay for a p80 8 years ago since P2 prices are down

sounds like its almost time to fix and sell the wagon in my yard :ninja:

So, if anyone has a 99 angle gear they’re looking to sell, let me know!

I do, it's out of the car but still bolted to the engine/trans out in my garage so I'll have to remove to get a good pic of the splines.. was working fine though

Eh, I don’t want to put  a 99 hydro lifter head on an 04 (originally solid lifter) engine. If anything, I’d grab a dual VVT head to port and install that when the time came. A friend is doing something similar on his wagon this winter, so I’m curious to see how it all turns out

Supposedly a whiteblock is about 400 lbs, definitely doable for 2 people. But if I can take the easy/lazy way out, I’m gonna 😂

accessories and turbo were attached as well ... much easier with a board to slide it up/down on ..  good luck with the swap, I'm sure you'll make short work of it!

When it came time to unload the engine from the truck I rented, the shop’s lift couldn’t quite go high enough to allow me to drive the truck out so I had to enlist a couple friends to help

I picked one up one time and hoisted it into my wagon with the guy I bought it from .. with our bare hands. . was surprised that was doable but he was pretty confident about it so I went for it.. lol
