  1. I agree. The stock wheels are not great, but I think they can pass as OKAY when the car is lowered. I'm gonna swap the wheels eventually but I'm undecided about what to get. I have my Rotiform TMB wheels in the garage, but I'd need to change to a larger tire size, and I'm not sold on how they look on MK7. I've only found one pic online: I also like the golf R wheels (though they are 19") and neuspeed RSE10
  2. Omg I have that sticky throttle feeling too! I just chalked it up to barely driving the car. Maybe the tb assembly needs oiling?
  3. This is exactly me every time I drive my car 😄
  4. Yes. PVL Auto Detailing and Daycare.
  5. lol i bet. I think we're finished at 2, unless I double my salary. I have tremendous respect for anyone with 3 or more kids.
  6. www.dadspeed.com It gets worse with 2 kids. We bought a VW Atlas because our Rav4 was too small. Highly recommend the Atlas btw.
  7. I just bought this a few months ago. Very happy with it.
  8. ROFL. I'd love to pick up an RS3 in the next few years.
  9. That's gorgeous. Looks perfect with the e-code turns. Miles?
  10. The pics are still there. I don't have the time to rehost them. You can get around the photobucket block by installing a plugin on chrome. I use this one: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-hotlink-fix/kegnjbncdcliihbemealioapbifiaedg?hl=en Alternatively, you can view the entire album of dash repair pics here: http://s104.photobucket.com/user/iamawass/library/Dash Repair
  11. I am not a fan of the 034 insert. It eliminated wheel hop and smoothed shifting, but transferred too much vibration to the cabin, so i took it out. This is on my 14 GLI with DSG, so take it with a grain of salt. Agreed on the JB4 - love mine.
  12. haven't done much to the yellow other than drive it occasionally. on the vw, i had the roof and window trim wrapped in black vinyl
  13. Nebulas come in 18" only. If those wheels are 17" then they are replicas.
  14. Depends on what type of case we're talking about. In a civil case, the short answer is probably not. If a driver is texting and causes an accident, it's hard to imagine there would be any dispute as to liability. So, if a case like that ever went to trial, the attorney for the driver would admit that the driver was responsible, and the video would probably not come into evidence. The idea is that the video is largely irrelevant because the driver already admitted fault, and to show it would be unfairly prejudicial to the driver because the jury would likely use it against the driver in awarding damages to the injured person. As a plaintiff's attorney, I would try my best to get it into evidence, arguing that it's relevant to show the severity of the collision, injuries, etc., but it probably would not be admitted into evidence. On the other hand, in a criminal case, it is much more likely to come into evidence.
  15. Just front. If you get hit from behind, it's generally considered to be the other person's fault. Plus, you have the front camera recording, so if you are at a stop and someone bumps you from behind, you'll have the footage to show that you were not backing up or something like that.
  16. Nice! I just put a Rexing V1 in my DD. Everyone who drives should get one of these.
  17. It actually went pretty smoothly. Initially, the car wouldn't start - turned out there was an issue with the manual ECU I bought from ARD (surprise surprise). But I was able to start and drive it using the auto ECU until the manual ECU got fixed. We may have had to tighten one or two coolant hoses. But other than that, the car shifted and drove fine.
  18. The M56L is in 1993, 1994, and early 1995 850s. After that, they used the M56H. All had external slaves. I did my swap over a weekend with help from a friend. We didn't take many breaks. :)
  19. They fucked up all of the writeups i posted on VS and other forums. I am pissed. It's going to take a long time for me to move everything over to flickr.
