I was wondering if anyone had this headunit? Thinking about buying b/c of the new features that eclipse came out with such as the custom internet tuning stuff with there units now. If anyone has this headunit please comment. Thanks,
Shaun

I just bought this headunit today and and went to the stereo shop to get an wiring harness and they gave me a 850 stereo harness
should this work in a 98 c70 with dolby? Will I tried it and nothing happens. The wires in both the factory and the harness are different the wires dont match up. Anyone that can help please help me.

my opinion on eclipse hasnt been taht great, but i dont want to get into that here
as for the harness, i would think with your stock system, you may need to bypass the stock amp, but i really have no experince with the dolby system and integrating a HU into it.

well,
I called eclipse today and they said that I need to bypass the factory amp, Question#1- Where would the amp be located at? Question#2- how would you bypass the factory amp itself? They said that if Itried using the amp with this headunit it could damage it, so only problem I have is getting the speakers hooked up, everything else is working just right , just no sound
